Lake 22

Good attitudes and eager personalities made this rainy trip a pleasurable one. Our group was a mix of experienced folks with folks new to the area, new to hiking, and/or new to the Mountaineers.
No snow on the trail to the lake, but the route was wet, wet, wet. A couple downed logs along the trail but nothing too difficult to contend with.

The rain took a break while we had lunch. We opted to do the loop around the lake, which was a nice add-on. There were just a couple small patches of snow on the lake loop trail.

The sun, and intermittent additional rain bursts, greeted us while we were heading down.

We stopped by the BBQ place in Granite Falls on our way back to town. Great group! Would hike with any of them again.
