Day Hike - Lake Ann (Mount Shuksan)

Given the high snowfall this year, the trail is only starting to melt out now. We crossed patches of snow near the trail head, then descended to the valley floor. Most of the descent and most of the valley floor was snow free, but sections were quite muddy. The final third of the trail, where it climbs up to Lake Ann, was almost continuous snow. The scramblers in our party had no trouble, but for some of the hikers in our party, this was their first experience travelling over snow and it was challenging for them.
