Let's meet at the Brickyard P&R at 6am, carpooling from there to the Surprise Lake TH.
This alternate destination will be reached from a much lower trailhead than the standard description, resulting in an entirely different trip.

I would like our party to have at least 2 shovels and avy probes in our party, so please bring these to the P&R if you own. You may also be asked to share in carrying some emergency gear - have some spare room in your pack.
