Stewardship - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center

This is a 3 hour stewardship day. You will be helping with the native plant landscaping around the Seattle Program Center. Mostly it is weeding and pruning. Plus, we will have a tasty lunch at the end of it. It’s a fun, easy, delicious day! Please join me and our landscaping consultant, Rosemary Baker, in making our green spaces look beautiful. She has a vast knowledge of plants. Come learn from an expert and get your stewardship badge.

We will meet in the lobby of the program center at 8:45, do some introductions, then work from 9-noon.

Please bring protection from the sun, a water bottle to stay hydrated, work gloves, and gardening hand tools if you have them. We mostly use hand shears, loppers, hand trowels, and our favorite tool...a hori hori knife. We have several of these.
