Detailed Route description:
We will be starting at Jack Perry Memorial Park, and then going through Duwamish River to Kelloggs Island. Duwamish river isn’t the cleanest, and u may not want to practice rolls or rescues there. After circumnavigating Kelloggs Island, we will go to Seacreast Peak (near Alki beach) and stop there for Lunch and take a Bathroom stop. You should see Seals and Sea Lions on the way after the docks. You should see huge ships docked in the Seattle Port and  will be paddling close to them.  Recently Orcas were spotted close to that place, but not sure if we will be that lucky on Sunday.

After Lunch stop, we will go towards the Seattle Wheel, and then try to find a way to get to the sea wall (which is underneath the pier).   After the sea wall, we will get back out of piers and paddle to the area where ferries cross over, and back to the Jack Perry Memorial Park. We will be crossing the shipping and ferry channel. Hence, bring your VHF radio if u have it (our channel is 69)

Known/unknown issues:
1. Ferry and Shipping channel crossing - we will have to follow strict procedures at these points.
2. Current - we may have to paddle against a weak current.
