We'll drive to the trailhead early in the morning on the 4th. It will take us a few hours to shuttle cars before and after the trip.

Our route will travel north to south, from the Thunder Creek trailhead to the Eldorado trailhead. We will climb several summits along the way. Candidate peaks include Tricouni, Primus, Austera, Klawatti, and Dorado Needle. Climbers should be prepared to help navigate and make route decisions.

The first day includes 6,000 ft of elevation gain, almost all of it in the last 3 miles. Brutal. Climbers need to be in very good shape. Climbers must also have a good attitude.
