Meeting place and time

Meet at 8:00 AM at the Longmire Trailhead. There is a restroom at the trailhead. An America the Beautiful Pass or daily park entry fee is required. Remember that Mt Rainier park has gone cashless.

Leader's notes

This is a moderate in-and-out hike on a well established trail. The season is still early so be prepared for some trail obstacles such as snow patches, downed trees, high water and mud. The group will maintain a brisk pace on the more level sections and slow down on the steeper sections.
