Day Hike - Winchester Mountain

Short, steep hike to a fire lookout with fabulous views. If the road is impassible, we might have to add up to 2 miles of road walking in each direction.

Glacier Public Service Center (a.k.a. Ranger Station),  8:00 am.

Participants are invited to camp the night after this hike at my reserved campsites at the Douglas Fir campground. They are also invited to sign up for my Excelsior Pass, High Divide, Welcome Pass loop hike the next day.
