I am spending the night in Ellensburg so carpooling will be up to participants to organize
Manastash Ridge near Ellensburg features a great network of trails that all lead to a memorial viewpoint at the top of the ridge that provides a grand view of the Kittitas Valley and the Stuart Range. There is a nice mix of forest and desert terrain on this hike with a good chance of seeing wildlife like deer. 5 miles is a stretch for this hike. Will be 4-5 miles depending on which trails we use. But some of the trails can get pretty steep in places.
Poor weather or pass conditions will cancel this hike.
