Day Hike - Upper Dungeness River

OK, we are going 13 miles round trip, and 2500 feet of elevation gain minimum. We will depart the river about 3.2 miles in. Then the slow ascent starts. This activity is STRENUOUS. You want to see the views, it costs calorie burn. Bring a serious lunch or we can pick one up at the Longhouse in Sequim Bay. The driver is doing 124 miles, so remember to help with vehicle expenses.

We are departing the Poulsbo North Viking Park and Ride at 07:30 a.m. We then proceed to the 7 Cedars Longhouse on Sequim Bay for desired snacks or lunches. From there, off to the trailhead we go.

Northwest Forest Pass or National Park Access Pass required.

 

There is acceptable filterable water along the trail.
