DAY 2

We will depart Cape Disappointment State Park by 7:00am and drive to the wreck of the Peter Iredale in Fort Stevens State Park, Oregon (pretty much across the mouth of the Columbia from Cape Disappointment). We will stay for an hour and take photos of the wreck.

At approximately 8:30am, we'll depart the park and head south to Cannon Beach, where we'll make a quick stop to take photos (note: since we can't hit the low tide on this trip, we'll only stay 30 minutes).

Next, we'll stop at Arch Cape, further south, and spend 30 minutes taking photos, followed by lunch in Tillamook.

After lunch, we'll press on to Devil's Lake State Recreation Area and set up camp. After we're done setting up camp, we'll drive to the Drift Creek Falls trailhead and hike 2.6 miles round trip to photograph the water falls.

Dinner on your own.

DAY 3

After departing Devil's Lake State Recreation Area, we will head south to Yaquina Head Lighthouse, where we will spend 30 minutes photographing the lighthouse.

Next, we'll drive to the Cape Perpetua overlook and spend another 30 minutes taking photos.

Our next lighthouse will be Heceta Head, where we will spend another 30 minutes taking photos.

Depending on the time, we may stop at the Sea Lion Caves.

As we drive along Hwy 101, we’ll make a stop at Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and spend 30 minutes taking photos.

We'll stop for lunch in Florence, OR.

After lunch, we drive to Umpqua Lighthouse State Park and set up camp. The rest of the day is yours to explore on your own.

Dinner on your own.
