Day Hike - Trappers Peak

Day Hike - Trappers Peak

Fantastic view of the Picket Range! Close up views of Mount Triumph! The summit of Trappers Peak is one of the best views in the North Cascades.

  • Very Strenuous
  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 10.6 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 3,300 ft

I will advise meeting place and time to those signed-up.  I plan on being at the trailhead about 9:30AM on Saturday morning. It's about a 2 hour drive from the Seattle area to the turn-off to the trailhead off highway 20

This is a challenging trip, and the forecast high temperatures will make it even more challenging; but the reward on the summit is really worth it!  There is  a short ridge to traverse where there is some minor exposure on both sides.
