Day Hike - Poo Poo Point via Chirico Trail

Take a late September hike up to Poo Poo Point in the Issaquah Alps. Hopefully we will get to see some para-gliders take off.

  • Easy/Moderate
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 4.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,650 ft
  • Pace: 2.0

The group will meet at Tibbets Valley Park at 7:40 am and the goal is to depart at 7:45 am. We will carpool from Tibbets Valley Park to the Poo Poo Point Trailhead on the Issaquah-Hobert Road SE past the Seattle Paragliding. A Discover Pass is needed at the trailhead.

Please have hiking boots with proper ankle support that are comfortable (no  hiking sandals, flip flops, or running shoes). If you want to bring two pairs of shoes; one for hiking and for the car that is totally fine. Bring plenty of water on the hike as there no water sources along the trail. There are portable toilets at the parking lot. More information will be emailed as the hike gets closer.
