A good workout and avoid the weekend crowd. Nice Olympic views from the summit! Open to all. Covid-19 vaccination required for this trip.

Rt from the trailhead to the true summit is 4 miles, additional 0.5 rt mile from the gate to the trailhead. Optional additional rt mile to the south summit, for a total of about 5.5 miles with less than 100' extra gain. Micro-spikes recommended.
