A Mountain Queers day hike to Bentrim Hill, not Mt Lillian, utilizing the Old Ellensburg, Grouse Spring, Howard Creek Tie, and Howard Creek trails to make a counter clockwise lollipop loop trip. The terrain varies between rolling and steep, with an occasional old road bed thrown in.
This trip is open to any interested LGBTQIA+ individuals. While we love our allies, I would kindly ask you to not sign up.
Weather details: hopefully we will find lovely to okay conditions, but snow and mud could be a possibility. If weather forecast for that day is poor, trip will be canceled.
Covid details: while I am not requiring vaccinations for this trip, carpooling the 8 miles from Blewett Pass to the TH along bumpy and rocky FS roads is only for the fully vaccinated.
Blewett Pass at 9am
