Day Hike - Coyote Wall & Catherine Creek
We will do the "big" 11 mile loop in the Coyote Wall, Catherine Creek area. This is an iconic Columbia River Gorge Hike with Sweeping View of the Columbia River, glimpses of Mount Hood, and the first of the spring wildflowers.

Meet at the Catherine Creek Trailhead at 10:30am. *Please note that this trailhead is a little less than 3 hours from Olympia*. We will aim to return to the Trailhead by 5pm
Take I-5 South to I-205 South either to Hwy 14 East toward Camas about 65 miles. Turn Left on Old Hwy 8 for 1.5 miles. Catherine Creek Trailhead will be on your left. OR to I-84 East toward Hood River. Pay $3.50 to cross the Hood River Bridge. Turn Right onto WA-14 East for 5.8 miles. Turn left onto Old Hwy 8 for 1.5 miles
We will hike up the Atwood Road to the Catherine Creek Arch then continue north and turn East, cutting across Old Ranch Road to the top of Coyote Wall. Heading Down and South on the little Moab trail toward Old Hwy 8 and then back up and NE on the Labyrinth Trail.
