We will meet at the Snoqualmie Lake Trail Parking Lot at 7:45 AM, ready to hike by 8AM. A Northwest Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Interagency Annual Pass is required.
This is a moderately strenuous hike- please check that you have done hikes with similar pace and distance recently. Please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding whether you should sign up for this hike or not.
This hike will go rain or shine, and there may be some snow on the trial. If things take a turn for the worse, we may change destination depending on weather/road/ trail conditions to another location around the I-90 corridor/ Issaquah Alps.
As this will be a full day hike, please bring snacks, lunch enough water for 6 hrs. of hiking (I recommend 2 liters). We will hike for approximately 60-90 minutes, take a snack break and bio break, then continue. I am hoping to have a lunch break at the Big Creek Falls viewpoint.
It may get dark upon our return; please make sure your headlamp is charged with fresh batteries and maybe bring extras.
My goal is to re-connect with a trail I did many moons ago and keep our spirits up while we wait for the snow /avalanche conditions to stabilize.
