Day Hike - Annette Lake

Hike + swim = awesome!

  • Moderate/Strenuous
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 7.5 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,700 ft
  • Pace: 2 mph

Tibbets Park & Ride (near Issaquah Transit Center, exit 15 off I-90), 8am.

Northwest Forest Pass required at the trailhead. Carpooling is encouraged.

Annette Lake is one of the most beautiful and easily accessible lakes in the I-90 corridor. It is very popular on the weekends, so we'll try to avoid the crowds by going on a weekday morning. Expect beautiful wildflowers, berries, waterfalls, and gorgeous landscapes. We will hike at a moderate pace (2 mph) and aim to keep moving, but nobody will be left behind. Bring a lunch for our break at the lake, and feel free to cool off in the lake water if it's a hot day!
