Meet at trailhead at 8 am, be ready to begin biking at 8:30 am.

We will begin biking at 8:30 am with fully loaded bikes. We will bike about 4 miles to the lower campground where we will make camp.  We will then continue biking with lighter bikes up to the upper campground where we will have lunch and explore the area on foot or by bike.  Wear shoes that you can hike in (this will not be a long distance..probably 2-3 miles at the most, but not suitable for road bike shoes).  The trail is  95% doubletrack.  5% is single track and some may want to push their bikes on this.  Water is plentiful, but it is river water and will need to be filtered.  Food will need to be hung up in trees or stored in bear-proof containers.
