Basic Snowshoe - Sun Top Lookout

We will meet at the Puyallup/South Hill Park N Ride, Hwy 512 and 94th St. East (near the west end of the South Hill Mall), at 8:00 AM, then caravan to the trailhead via Hwy 410. We may stop at the Enumclaw Safeway on Roosevelt Road E on the way. A Sno-Park pass is required and chains must be carried in each vehicle. The Sno-Park is located approximately 1/2 mile off of Hwy 410 and road is rugged. 4wheel/AWD drive is recommended.

I will be driving a 4WD Toyota Tundra, dark-ish red with crew cab and canopy for identification.

Covid restrictions apply, vaccinated individuals only. I am 'fully' vaccinated and 'boosted.' I may chose to verify vaccination status so bring evidence of vaccination in case.

The route will simply follow FR 7315 uphill (a fairly easy to moderate slope) as far as we can, have lunch and return. I am not expecting to make it to the lookout.

This trip may be cancelled or changed at short notice due to changing weather/road conditions. An alternate route may be chosen as well.
