Meeting place is whichever campground is secured in Icicle Canyon. We will meet at the campground on Thursday evening 7/25 or at 6am Friday morning if you prefer to drive over morning of the climb.
Students are expected to arrive on Thursday and camping will be secured at the Lone Fir Campground just East of Cutthroat Lake Trail Head. Camp Sights will be listed under Loni Uchytil on the campground Bulletin Board. Students are expected to pay for camping or make other arrangements but all students are to meet on Friday morning at 6am at the Blue Lake Trailhead and must have all the necessary personal gear for the day including water, food, headlamps and all your personal climbing gear. ropes and climbing racks will be provided by the Rope leads. For the approach it is best to wear an Approach shoe or light weight hikers, whichever you choose it will need to fit on your harness or in a small daypack. Students will approach with a full size backpack and have a smaller daypack available for the climb.
We will have a planning meeting on Zoom prior to leaving Seattle
