We will use skis to approach and descend from Steamboat Prow. This is a burly "full value" day with ~5500' of gain and a full spectrum of skiing conditions and travel on a glacier.
7:30AM at the White River Campground, ready to go.

- Backcountry ski gear (skis, skins, ski crampons).
- Glacier travel gear (harness, prusiks, etc.).
- Avalanche / snow safety gear (modern 3-antenna beacon, shovel, probe).
We will have at least two ropes in the party.
