Basic Alpine Climb - Concord Tower/North Face

Concord with possible linkup to Lexington

  • Sat, Aug 10, 2024
  • Seattle Climbing
  • Climbing
  • Basic Alpine
  • Adults
  • Intermediate Rock Climb
  • Challenging

TBD via email

Preference for Stephen Johnson SIG students until July 1st.  Inquiries before then are not guaranteed a response.  Do not sign up without explicit permission.

This is intended to be "bonus content" for Basic students who have demonstrated strong rock climbing ability, and who would like to try out some classic Washington Pass lines that are often posted as Intermediate climbs.  This is also intended for participants in our Washington Pass Climb-a-palooza, with South Early Winters Spire on Friday 8/9 and Kangaroo Temple on Sunday 8/11.

Ahead of this climb, I expect Basic students to have either done a Basic rock climb or a multi-pitch practice session at Exit 38 so that communication, route cleaning, and roles are dialed in.

Depending on student interest and instructor availability, roster expansion is a possibility.
