We'll meet up at the Marble Mtn snow-park Friday evening and camp in the parking lot for an early start on Saturday.
We'll skin up, wait for corn o'clock at the regular crater rim spot and then have a great ski down.
Participants should expect a pace that gets us to the summit in 5 hours or less.
AIARE 1 required.
When you reach out for permission, please describe your current fitness, the skis you intend to use, and your skiing ability. I have found that a dedicated touring set up is best since a heavy inbounds set up evening with a "cross over" binding will more than likely put you on the summit well after the rest of the group.
Always super fun if we get the weather!
Leader will take care of permits
