We'll meet up at the Marble Mtn snow-park Saturday afternoon and camp in the parking lot for an early start on Sunday.
We'll meet up in the Sno-park the evening before so we're ready for an early start on Sunday.
We'll skin up, wait for corn o'clock at the regular crater rim spot and then have a great ski down.
Participants should expect a pace that gets us to the summit in 5 hours or less.
AIARE 1 required.
When you reach out for permission, please describe your current fitness, the skis you intend to use, and your skiing ability. I have found that a dedicated touring set up is best since a heavy inbounds set up evening with a "cross over" binding will more than likely put you on the summit well after the rest of the group.
Always super fun if we get the weather!
