Alpine Scramble - The Palisades & Marcus Peak

7am USFS Ranger Station in Enumclaw (may move to an earlier time - TBD)

This is a scramble with priority to Olympia students who are in need of a scramble to complete course requirements through August 2nd 11:59pm.  If this does not apply to you, please do not sign up until August 3rd after 12:01am.  If you sign up too early, I'll drop you!

We will complete both peaks - Marcus and then we'll go over and scramble up Palisades.  Afterwards, we'll take a break on the way down at Clover Lake.

My pace is moderate - generally around 1,100-1,200 ft/gain per hour on hiking trails.  This is fast enough to keep the heart pumping but not so fast that we can't talk to each other. We'll take breaks at the 15 min, 1 hour, 2 hour, 3 hour, etc. marks.  A prospectus will be sent out to all participants.
