Relocated from the North Cascades due to smoke conditions.

This is the best larch tree hike/scramble in the Teanaway region! We will hike up to Longs Pass, then scramble the ridge up and over Not Hinkhouse, which has a lot of fun class 3 rock between that peak and Ingalls Pass. From the pass, then hike through the glorious golden larches of Headlight Basin to get to Ingalls Lake. From there, we will ascended fun slabby rock slopes then a bit of less-fun looser stuff to lead up to the saddle between the south and main peaks. From here, we can scramble up a fun  brief class 4 but non-exposed move, or go around it to reach the summit of South Ingalls. We will follow the class 3 ridge to Fortune. Then from there, we have the option of dropping back to Headlight Basin, or to drop off the west side to instead hike out the Lake Ann Trail. Great chance of encountering mountain goats on this trip!
