Read carefully! This is a double summit Mt. Teneriffe and Mt. Si back to back. Meet Mt. Teneriffe parking lot, 7:00 am when the gate opens, ready to get boots on the trail no later than 7:15 am.
This is first part of a "Type 2 Fun" day, where we climb Mt. Teneriffe and Mt. Si in the same day. After you sign up for this, I will manually add you to the Mt. Si climb as well.
The intent is to provide students (and those who want to suffer alongside) a taste of a long one-day climb (think: Eldorado 7500 ft gain in a day) or glacier climbs with 2 big days in a row with minimal rest.
Expectations: This will be a very strenuous day (7000+ feet and 9-12 hours), so it should not be your first time out of the barn this season. Please actively prepare by doing what you can to haul weight up hills, or local stairs in the weeks leading up to this.
We will be following both the letter and the spirit of any government and/or Mountaineers restrictions in place at the time.
