The Everett Mountaineers Climbing Committee will host Jason Hardrath for an in-person screening of Journey to Infinity: Pico de Orizaba. Q&A will follow, facilitated by  Mountaineers and North Face Athlete Development Team member Kimber Cross.

In December 2022, Jason flew to Mexico on a mission to establish the infinity loop on Pico de Orizaba, North America's tallest volcano (18,491 ft). Unfortunately his time on the mountain revealed one of his worst fears – he was susceptible to HAPE (High Altitude Pulmonary Edema), a potentially fatal form of altitude sickness. He had to leave the mountain, but he wasn’t about to give up. Fast forward a few months later, Jason gathered a support crew and brought on his friend, Nathan Longhurst back to Mexico to attempt the audacious goal on Orizaba once again. Did they succeed? Was it a smooth sailing? Were there team dynamics challenges? Please join us, meet up with friends, have a beverage, watch the film, and learn about this historical effort.
