Learn more about Youth Programs offered at different locations

IN ACCORDANCE WITH WASHINGTON STATE AND CDC GUIDELINES, THE MOUNTAINEERS HAS DEVELOPED AN OPERATING PLAN FOR OUR PROGRAMS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.  FOR MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE VISIT OUR COVID-19 RESPONSE PAGE.

Bellingham

Just north of Seattle and south of Vancouver, BC, our Bellingham Branch offers a way to connect and explore with people between the mountains and the sea. At this time, we do not have direct youth programming in Bellingham, but do offer Partner Programs that are supported by our Seattle Branch.

Everett

Situated between Seattle and Bellingham, in Everett we enjoy access to the spectacular mountains of the North Cascades, Mountain Loop Highway, and Stevens Pass corridors with close proximity to the pristine waterways and recreation areas of the northern Puget Sound lowlands. At this time, we do not have direct youth programming in Everett.

Foothills

Founded in 2004, the Foothills Branch encompasses the Eastside communities along the I-90 and I-405 corridors, from Bothell to Renton and Mercer Island to Ellensburg. At this time, we do not have direct youth programming in Everett.

Kitsap

In Kitsap, we're committed to bringing outdoor experiences to today’s youth through our youth and family programs. These opportunities offer outdoor recreation skills, self-confidence, self-reliance, an appreciation for the natural world, and a commitment to protecting the outdoor experience.

Olympia

In Olympia, our wilderness adventures are scheduled throughout the year and are led by experienced Mountaineers. The focus is to have fun and engaging activities for kids such as hiking, rock climbing, camping, backpacking, razor clamming, orienteering, berry picking, boating, and more. We also have exciting classes for the family that teach Family Essentials and encourage a connection with the outdoors and participate in several stewardship outreach activities that offer families an opportunity to serve.

Seattle

Looking for fun ways for youth to get involved with Mountaineers Programming in Seattle? From  camps, to year-round programs, to afterschool, and partner programs, we have lots of fun ways for kids to get outside and experience all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer!

Tacoma

Looking for fun ways for youth to get involved with Mountaineers Programming in Tacoma? From  camps, to year-round programs, to afterschool, and partner programs, we have lots of fun ways for kids to get outside and experience all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer!

Lodges

The Mountaineers has Outdoors Centers throughout Western Washington. Our lodges, cabins, and campuses support courses by offering overnight accommodations for students, and are ski and weekend getaway destinations. The Kitsap Forest Theater is a historic outdoor theater showcasing two musical productions a year which are open to the public and a family favorite.
