ABOUT THE AWARD
The Seattle Olmsted 70 is a 70-kilometer (43-mile) route that connects parks and greenspaces in Seattle. Mountaineers who complete this route can receive the Seattle Olmsted 70 badge.
HOW TO OBTAIN
- Complete Sections 7 through 12 of the Seattle Olmsted 70 with The Mountaineers Urban Walks. With leader permission, walkers may complete one section as a private walk.
- If completing one section as a non-Mountaineers activity, propose trip for approval, walk, and submit a trip report with a photo to the Seattle Urban Walk Committee chair.
- Pass the Seattle Olmsted 70 online quiz, which will be shared by the Seattle Urban Walk Committee chair.
- To receive this badge, members must hold a current Stewardship Credit badge, earned by completing a total of six hours of stewardship.
