Pool Session - Curtis Aquatic Center

You'll be Introduced to wet exits, self-and partner rescues in a safe - fun environment.

Please arrive no later than 10:30AM. You’ll have 15 minutes to stage your personal gear outside of the double doors at west end of pool. We're expecting the rental kayaks to arrive from Port Gamble, at 10:45AM. All the students should be ready to help unload the trailer transporting the kayaks and gear upon their arrival. In preparation for quick staging into the pool area once the doors open promptly at 11 AM.

Instructors and students:

Be sure to check in with Sarah Barnhart, as she will have a bright, orange, or chartreuse vest on.  She will inform you of your pod, designation for this clinic.

Curtis Aquatic Center. Has provided a hose and connection that is located inside the door near the pool for washing the kayaks out. Prior to any of them being put into the pool.

Dressing for the pool. You’ll want to dress in dynamic clothing, expect to be getting wet, jumping climbing in and out of your Kayaks.
