Preference to Tacoma Branch Introduction to Backpacking Students. Trip will open to all Mountaineers on April 30.
We will take the trail located on the east side of the Skokomish River to Spike Camp, about 2.5 miles on a relatively flat easy trail with occasional views of the river. Once at camp, we will set up our area and explore the nearby area. On Saturday we may take an extended day hike to FlapJack Lakes.
The campground features a privy and bear wire for hanging food, etc.
