We will meet at the trail head 8:00am to head up the trail at by 8:30am. You can find directions to the trail head and route description here: https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/pete-lake. A Northwest Forest pass or $5 a day required for parking.
I expect this to be an easy hike at easy pace. Trip will happen rain or shine. We will camp at Pete Lake or a mile further along the trail at Lemah Meadows. A side trip along the PCT with no particular destination is also on the itinerary. Bear cannisters or bags will be used. A details email will be sent a couple of weeks before trip.
Two dogs will be joining the group. Please be comfortable hiking and camping with dogs before signing up on this trip.

Required Equipment

The Ten Essentials plus overnight gear which may include:
- Tent with footprint/ground tarp
- Stove and fuel
- Sleeping bag
- Sleeping pad
- Water filter
- Bear canister or Ursack
- Cooking pot/pan with plate and utensils
- Toilet paper and shovel or blue bag to deal with waste
