Snowshoe

Mountaineers can provide snowshoes. If you'd like to borrow gear (including snowshoes), please submit your request to the gear library by [DATE].

Trip Sheet: Posted within two weeks prior to the trip.

Guests: If spots are still available one week prior to the trip, email [NAME] to request that a friend or sibling be able to join.

  • Snowshoes (Mountaineers can provide)
  • Trekking poles
  • Boots (insulated and waterproof)
  • Gaiters
  • Warm clothing and extra synthetic layers
  • Long underwear top and bottom (synthetic)
  • Wool or synthetic socks
  • Liner socks (optional, but recommended)
  • Fleece or wool sweater
  • Waterproof shell (jacket and pants, breathable with hood on jacket)
  • Waterproof gloves
  • Liner gloves
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Stocking hat (wool or synthetic)
  • Brimmed cap
  • Water bottles (at least 2L)
  • Lunch
  • Van shoes
  • Camera (optional)
