Summer Camp - Wind and Waves Week

Campers ages 6-12 are invited to join The Mountaineers for a week packed with traditional camp games, songs, and a heavy dose of outdoor adventure. Each week consists of rock climbing, outdoor skills, crafts, and swimming. Additionally, every week has a field trip, activity, and/or outdoor adventure relating to the given theme.

This week gives campers the opportunity to discover kayaking, swimming, and tide-pooling. During Wind and Waves week, the camp will take a field trip to Discovery Park. We will explore the beautiful coastline, meet the critters who live in local tidepools, build driftwood forts, and enjoy an afternoon on the beach. Transportation to field trips is provided; pick-up and drop off will be the same on field trip days. 

LOGISTICS:

• Registration Lottery opens  January  2
• Open enrollment begins February 1
• Drop off: 8:45 - 9:00
• Pick up: 3:50 - 4:00
• AM extended care starts at 7:45am (Tuesday-Friday)
• PM extended care runs until 5:30pm (Monday-Thursday)
• Family Friday (optional): Friday 3:00 - 4:00
• *Please note: all outdoor activities are weather and condition dependent*
