Summer Camp - Water Week 1

Kids will learn all about outdoor water activities during this week of camp!

COVID-19: Learn about our most up-to-date guidance for participants and leaders on our COVID-19 Response page. All participants and leaders must agree to the COVID-19 Code of Conduct before participating in this Mountaineers course.

Become an adventurer like Sacagawea ! Way back in the 1800s she guided Lewis and Clark through the wonders of the PNW in an effort to find a practical route through the great west for President Thomas Jefferson.  Come along with the Corps of Discovery for a week of adventure with the Mountaineers:  Navigate your way around Magnuson Park, kayak around lake washington, raft down the Sykomish river and climb up the tallest peaks (climbing walls) at the mountaineers.

Kids will have a chance to try climbing, swimming, kayaking, and whitewater rafting. This week will include fun games and activities, an earth stewardship component and outdoor skills development, all led by skilled instructors.

During Water week, the camp will take an awesome field trip to the Outdoor Activities Center in Index WA to go white water rafting down the Skykomish. (Be prepared to pick your camper up late on their field trip day due to the nature of this activity.)

Camp is 9 am to 4 pm. Extended care AM is 7:45-8:45am - Extended care PM is 4:00-5:30 pm.
