We will have a fun day trail running the loops at Bridle Trails State Park

9:00AM: Meet in Parking Lot and walk to Central Junction Trailhead - Google Map

The Explorers will spend the morning running some trails.

Guests: If spots are still available one week prior to the trip, email Dave Mayer at to request that a friend or sibling be able to join.

  • Trail Run the Coyote Loop (3.5 miles) and add on additional loops if there is interest 
  • Return to trail head by 12:00pm

Required Equipment

Required Equipment

  • Bring Light Layers that you can remove as you get warm running
  • Open to all youth even if they’ve never done a trail run/much running - we will choose a couple of different pace groups 
  • Wear Sneakers, Running shoes or trail running shoes that are nice and sturdy 
  • You can use a small water backpack or a small backpack with a water bottle 
  • We will do pre-trip meeting to talk about what to expect/pace/gear, ect 
  • Bring your own water/snacks
