CHS 2 Hike - Marmot Pass
Join us (EARLY!) for this beautiful hike on the Olympic Peninsula, hiking into Olympic National Park. Please read the hike details below on timing before signing up for this hike. We could have anything from lingering snow to wildflowers this time of year depending on how things melt out, so please pack your sense of adventure! CHS hike led at a CHS 2 pace (2.0-3.0 mph)

This hike will include an hour of silent hiking to better tune into our senses and surroundings.
I expect (but don't guarantee!) that the moving pace on this one will average between 2-2.3 MPH if you like that sort of info.
Our VERY EARLY meeting time on the Peninsula side will be 7:15 a.m. at the P&R before the Hood Canal Bridge. The trailhead is 2.5 hours away from Seattle and you'll either need to be on the Bainbridge *6:10 am ferry* (first Kingston ferry is too late on Sundays and won't be an option) or drive around, or stay on the Peninsula side the night before. Parking at the trailhead is limited, and we'll plan to meet at the park and ride to organize final carpools from there.
More details will be provided in the Hello Hiker email.
