This loop hike will take place at Wallace Falls and Wallace Lake using a combination of the main Wallace Falls trail, a forest road, and the Gregg Ball Trail. We'll move at a moderate pace, stopping for breaks as needed.
As always, bring the ten essentials, including rain gear. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Parts of the upper trail between the falls and the forest road can be steep and difficult to navigate. We'll take our time and watch our footing there. There is also a section of forest road that is almost always flooded this time of year, so it might be a good idea to bring extra socks in case you get your feet wet.
Anticipate an early start, getting to Wallace Falls State Park around 8 a.m.
Let's determine the most convenient carpooling location closer to the date based on the locations of those who register.
