For those driving directly and meeting us at the trailhead, plan to be there around 6:30 a.m.

Yes, this is early. Last time I led this for CHS, I came just a little later than this and the lot was full!

This is a fan favorite, though it can also be very crowded.

Our hike will start from a Pacific Crest trailhead on the opposite side of the freeway from the Snoqualmie Pass ski area.  We follow a beautiful section of the PCT with a well-maintained trail at a moderate grade.  The Katwalk area has a narrow trail with a steep drop to one side, so please be extra mindful in this section.  It's wide enough to walk safely, but for some odd reason people always want to dance on the Katwalk. Please don't.

Let's plan to stop for an after hike meal: https://www.gaslampbarandgrill.com/
