When hiked last September, the trail was in excellent condition with very few rocks and tree roots. There is at least partial shade most of the way to the summit which is exposed. There are no water sources along the trail.
Most likely meet at the Monroe P & R at 7:10 AM to carpool or at the Trailhead, 13 miles north of Skykomish at 8:30. A NW Forrest or America The Beautiful parking pass is needed.
