The morning is 3 - 5 miles with  500 ft elevation gain in the last mile (approx 2 - 3 hrs) in a guided trek to Meany Lodge. A simple hot lunch will be served around 11:30 AM.  We encourage everyone to bring hearty snacks with them.  With the restrictions from COVID, we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions this year.

We will leave the Meany Campus around 12:30 PM, for the downhill snowshoe trek back to the parking lot, arriving between 4:00 and 5:00 PM.

No previous snow-shoeing experience required, but you should be able to walk at least 8 miles at a medium pace.

COVID-19 Notes:  Everyone is expected to bring and wear a mask anytime the group is gathered.    In a normal year, we have lunch inside Meany Lodge.  This year, the Lodge will be closed with bathroom only access.  We ask for your understanding and flexibility as we all navigate these difficult times.  The leader will send more information as the course date approaches.
