Downhill Ski Lesson Series for all ages and all abilities

Downhill Ski Series

Meany Lodge offers  lessons and coaching by PSIA (Professional SnowSports Instructors of America) at their PSIA recognized winter sports school.

Downhill ski lessons/snowboard  series are offered every other weekend  at Meany Lodge for four weekends.  One lesson on Saturday afternoon and one on Sunday morning.  This series is the most economical and the most flexible series offered.  Make-up  lessons are offered the alternate weekend.  Beginner and lower intermediate slopes are groomed.  Advanced slopes offer the chance to learn to ski untracked snow.  Some lessons may have video of the class skiing.

Series A:  Jan 7-8,  21-22, Feb 4-5 Mar 4-5

If these dates don't work for you check out Series B

Series B:  Jan 14-15 , 28-29, Feb 11-12, Feb 25-26

Make-up lessons the alternate series, any date.

 Lodge fees, winter parking permits not included.

Course Requirements

This course has no scheduled activities.

Roster
Required Equipment

Rent or bring your skis, boots and poles. Helmets are strong suggested.

 Instructors will be available to advise you in equipment for your ability age and weight whether you wish to purchase or rent from an outside rental store.  The Mountaineers does not provide you with equipment.

Bring slippers to wear in the lodge.

Sign up for lodge stay and state sno-park permits.  (Both a sno-park and a groomed trail permit required for Crystal Springs sno-park.)
