Meet at 7:30am at the Quilcene Ranger Station to carpool up to the parking area by 8am.
Demonstrate your physical conditioning and test footwear.
Meet at Mt. Walker trailhead.
Directions drive 5 miles south of Quilcene on US Highway 101. Turn east onto Mt. Walker Viewpoint Road. Drive a short .25 mile to the trailhead. Pullover parking is on the left side of the road. Trail begins on the right side of the road.
Required Equipment
Students are to dress appropriately and carry appropriate equipment designated by instructor. Students are to wear supportive hiking boots for scrambling.
