Walking the Wild: 250 miles across the Land of Fire and Ice
Join Salome Stahli and Ricardo Martin Brualla for another exciting night of photos and storytelling, this time from their 250-mile journey on foot north to south across the Land of Fire and Ice, Iceland! The zoom link will be open at 6:30PM, and the presentation will go from 7PM to 8:30 with the last 15-20 minutes being open for questions.

Mountainfilm On Tour - Bellevue - BIG GREEN WORLD
This year’s Bellevue Mountainfilm on Tour film program will focus on environmentalism, ecology, stewardship of our lands and wild places, and adventures in and emotional engagements with the outdoors. Titled “Big Green World” the films focus on subjects such as the rainforests of Amazon Basin, Scotland, and our Washington State; Orcas off the coast of Scotland; the polar bears of Churchill, Canada; regenerative farming; kayaking and climbing in the Baffin Islands, highline rope walking between two hot air balloons at 6,300 feet elevation...and more.

This evening zoom session will prepare all of our 2024 mentors for the upcoming Backpacking Building Blocks season, including the schedule, expectations of mentors, planning of lectures, demo day, practice camps, group calls and backpack trips. The 19th Annual Backcountry Film Festival
The Backcountry Film Festival will be screening a collage of short documentaries and ski movies about the pursuit of objectives and ideals in the mountains, artistic vision, friendship, and how the snowsports community is adapting to a changing environment. The total runtime is 2 hours. The Backcountry Film Festival, presented by Winter Wildlands Alliance, celebrates human-powered, backcountry-inspired stories rooted in wild snowscapes, stewardship and stoke.

Walking the Wild: Hiking the Oregon Coast Trail with Peter Hendrickson and Nancy Temkin
Enjoy another evening of grand photos and storytelling from the wilds (or semi-wilds) of the world, Our speaker will tell of trekking the first stage of Oregon's Coast Trail. He will talk about how he and his wife mixed six days of beach, forest and highway walks and highway shuttles. This is a wonderful primer on how to organize your own adventure on this unique and lovely trail system! The zoom link will be open at 6:30PM, and the presentation will go from 7PM to 8:30 with the last 15-20 minutes being open for questions. You must have a ticket to receive the zoom link to join - free tickets are available.
