  • Mileage: 6.5 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,600 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 2,370 ft
  • Pace: 1.5 - 2 mph

Meet at 7:45 am at the Teneriffe Falls Trailhead ready to hike. After introductions and discussion of group goals and trail conditions, we will plan to start hiking by 8:00 am. Goal is to be back by noon or so. Discover Pass required. Restroom at trail head.

From I-90, take exit 32 (436th Avenue SE). Turn left (north) over the freeway and drive 0.5 miles to SE North Bend Way. Turn left (west), and in 0.25 mile turn right (north) on SE Mount Si Road. In 2.9 miles (past the Little Si and Mount Si trailheads), you will reach a 118-car paved parking area on the left.

We'll stick together as a group on the main trail at about 2 mph until we get to the falls, and then stop for ~15 min for a snack. The 22 switchbacks up to the base of the falls wind in and out of tree cover.  The last mile of the hike is over rocky trail (wrist size to household-pet size rocks in some places) - so hiking boots with ankle support are strongly recommended and poles are suggested.
