April Hikes: 2.5 - 5 miles, 250 - 1,000 feet gain - Saint Edward State Park

This hike may count toward your monthly required GoHike course April hike. Enjoy a lush mossy-treed view throughout the hike at an easy pace with the reward of beautiful Lake Washington shores to relax on for a bit. Hike 2.3 miles at a pace of 1.5-2.0 mph at 12 noon on Thursday April 11th.

Meet at the North parking lot by the trailhead at 12:00pm. Discovery Pass required. Kiosks on site for pass purchase and fully equipped restrooms.

This trip will be at an easy to moderate pace (1.5-2.0), enough to keep us going and also allowing for stops to enjoy and take in our surroundings along the way. Becky has a playful, educational, and easy-going style. The goal is to enjoy ourselves, learn, be safe, and connect with nature and each other.

Please bring the Ten Essentials, layers, hiking poles and shoes apt for any muddy and wet patches we encounter, snacks/food for our break if desired, and your passion for hiking in spring time! You may also want something to sit on, a sit pad, plastic bag or shipping bubble package, and enough water for some up and down hill exertion.
