This is an introduction to mechanical advantage theory. We will be taking a more detailed look at mechanical advantage systems such as

  • incorporating friction into mechanical advantage
  • exploring other ways of calculating mechanical advantage
  • practicing with toothed pulleys/camming devices
  • alternate progress capture systems

Priority goes to Foothills  Climbing Intermediates and Leaders. After May 1, intermediates from other branches may request permission.
