Nordic Ski Instructor Clinic - Everett - 2024

Cross-country Skiing & Outdoor Leadership Course

Nordic Ski instructor Clinic

Refresh your ski teaching skills while learning the student progression for Nordic classic and skate skiing.

These are instructor clinics for the Everett Nordic Skiing Program. Clinics are offered for both groomed and un-groomed methods.  We cover the student progression from fundamentals like balance, form, and rhythm to intermediate touring skills on moderate slopes.

This clinic is required for all new instructors and recommended every year or two for repeat instructors. While the primary goal is to promote best practices and consistency across instructors, it's also a good opportunity to refresh your skills and perhaps pick up a few pointers that may improve your own skiing!

There are 2 different clinics offered.

1) Classic instructor clinic on Sunday, Janury 7th from 9 – 3:30 at Crystal Springs Snopark. This clinic is open to all qualified instructors of our basic Classic Nordic class who plan to instruct this year. This clinic is required for all new instructors and anyone who has  not taken the clinic in 2023.  We will be learning  instruction techniques to help us be better instuctors.

2) Skate instructor clinic on Wednesday, January 3rd, from 6-8:00 PM at Crystal Springs Snopark. This clinic is open to all qualified instructors of the  skate class.

Please select which clinic or clinics you will be attending and registering for.
